First. Beneficiaries: Line 1 (Promotion of Grassroots Sports): Any sports entity, associated sports group for the practice of physical-sports activities or sports action section that develops sports activities and has its registered office in Alcalá de Henares. Line 2 (Participation in official competitions): Any Sports Entity registered in a recognized and official sports federation, as well as any individual athlete who does not belong to any Sports Entity of Alcalá de Henares and has a federative license in any official sports modality. Both lines must meet all the requirements established in point 6 of these rules. Second. Purpose: Line 1 Promotion of grassroots sports in Alcalá de Henares from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. Line 2 financial aid to sports entities and individual athletes in Alcalá de Henares from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. Both aids aim to promote the development and promotion of sports activities at the highest level by sports entities and individual athletes, through promotion and participation in sporting activities. Physical activity and sport serve as a fundamental basis for the formation and comprehensive development of personality and the increase in the general well-being of the population. For this reason, sports activities are considered activities of public utility. They will be submitted with the application model and the annexes incorporated into these Rules, as well as the documentation indicated in point 9 of this call through the following means: - Mandatory, sports entities and individual athletes who have a digital certificate and wish to do so, through the electronic headquarters of the Alcalá de Henares City Council, in the Sports field: https://sde.ayuto-alcaladehenares.es/sta/CarpetaPublic/doEvent?APP_CODE=STA&PAGE_CODE=CATALOGO - Individual athletes who do not have a digital certificate, or who wish to do so, must submit their applications through the General Registry of the Alcalá de Henares City Council or the registry offices of the Sixth District Boards. Other information: These subsidies will be compatible with other aid or subsidies provided by other public administrations for the same purpose or object. Under no circumstances will the amount of subsidies obtained (either individually or jointly with other subsidies) exceed the cost of the subsidized activity. In this case, the subsidy awarded will be reduced to the total cost of the sporting activity. The assumed and actual expenses are considered eligible expenses.
