Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: The following may be eligible for the granting of one of the aid provided for in this call: • Natural persons. • Legal entities. • Groups of natural or legal persons, public or private. Communities of property. • Any other type of economic unit or separate property that, without having legal personality, can carry out projects, activities or are in the situation that motivates the granting of aid. In the case of groups of natural or legal persons without personality, a representative of the group must be appointed for compliance who, as beneficiary, corresponds to the group. Second. Object and purpose: The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of aid to support artistic creation through creation aid and artistic residencies. The purpose of these grants is to facilitate: • The promotion of professional careers and artistic creations in the field of performing arts. • The visibility and knowledge of the different creation processes. • Promoting the creative processes of emerging artists. • The promotion of artistic and management research processes. Third. Regulatory Bases: The full text of the Regulatory Bases can be consulted on the City Council website: www.mataro.cat.Cuarto. Amount: Aid for the creation of the RESIDENT ARTISTS modality is granted as a subsidy in kind for the transfer of spaces and material to the people who are beneficiaries of the 5 places that will be granted. The Cultural Service of the Mataró City Council will be responsible for the expenses derived from these transfers for a maximum amount of 44,000 euros. Creation aid in the ASSOCIATE ARTIST/DA modality is granted in the form of a cash subsidy and a subsidy in kind for the transfer of spaces and material to the people who are beneficiaries of the 2 places that will be granted. The Cultural Service of the Mataró City Council will be responsible for the expense derived from the transfer of spaces and materials for a maximum amount of 27,200 euros. The budgetary limit for cash aid of this modality is provided for in budgetary application number 850200/333310/48101_Ayudas a la Creación Fet a Mataró in the budget of the Culture Service of the Mataró City Council; for the year 2027, in an amount of 4,800 euros, and for the year 2028, in an amount of 1,200 euros (6,000 euros in total). These amounts are conditional on the approval of the budgets for the 2027 and 2028 annuities, and the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the corresponding budget application.Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications: Applications may be submitted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPB until 11:59 p.m. on July 10, 2026. Applications submitted later than the day and time indicated will not be accepted. The presentation must be made through the electronic headquarters of the Mataró City Council (https://seu.mataro.cat). Individuals can also make the presentation in person at the offices of the Culture Service or at the Citizen Service and Assistance Offices (http://www.mataro.cat/short/3k) of the Mataró City Council.
