Beneficiaries Legal entities, legally constituted, that must carry out the activity on which they are granted may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, provided that they are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in article 13 of the LGS, and are presented, in accordance with the provisions of article 42 of RD 188/2025 in relation to article 11 LGS; in particular: In accordance with art. 11.1 LGS: Individually, non-profit foundations, non-profit cooperative societies, non-profit associations, public universities, public university research institutes or centers, legally constituted, with purposes, object or scope of activity that is consistent with the object and purpose of the call, with headquarters or permanent delegation in the province of Bar. Non-profit foundations, associations and cooperatives will have to be registered in the Registry of development organizations managed by the Agency Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD) of the Generalitat of Catalonia or in the Registry of non-governmental development organizations attached to the Spanish Agency for Development Cooperation (AECID). In accordance with article 11.3 LGS: Groups without legal personality between any of the entities defined in the previous point, that meet the requirements established and that can carry out the activity that is the subject of the subsidy. These groups, in accordance with the provisions of Base 6, will state in the application the execution commitments and the amount to be applied by each of the members of the group, will appoint a representative/leader of the group and will undertake not to dissolve until the legally established limitation period has expired. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, instruction, resolution, payment and justification of the subsidies granted by the Barcelona Provincial Council through the Municipal Support Service in the areas of Europe, cooperation and internationalization of the International Relations Directorate, intended to support projects that aim to promote global citizenship education (hereinafter, ECG) in the province of Barcelona. For the purposes of this call, education projects for global citizenship are formal, non-formal or informal education proposals that promote conscious, critical citizenship committed to the defense of human rights and sustainable development in the world and to international solidarity understood from co-responsibility. The projects must include actions in the province of Barcelona that demonstrate the global dimension of local phenomena through their interconnection and interdependence, taking into account as a frame of reference global inequalities, interdependencies, the challenges of sustainable human development, as well as violations of human rights in the countries receiving Official Development Assistance (ODA). The projects will have to fit into one of the following themes and work on them from an international dimension that addresses local-global links; inequalities, interdependencies and violations of human rights in the Global South, bringing together the realities and testimonies of these countries. The aforementioned themes will be the following: The defense and promotion of human rights, with special attention to the most vulnerable groups. Peace building and violence prevention. The fight against gender inequalities. The economic and social sustainability of production and consumption models. Migrations and the right to refuge. The climate emergency and environmental justice
