Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Taking into account the General Ordinance for the Granting of Subsidies approved by plenary agreement dated March 17, 2005, as well as the Strategic Subsidy Plan approved in 2026 by plenary agreement dated February 24, any person, natural or legal, who wishes to start a new economic activity in an empty commercial premises or continue an activity close to closure in Etxebarri may be a beneficiary. They must be activities established in a commercial premises between June 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026. The following will be able to access the aid contemplated in these bases: 1.- Entrepreneurs who wish to start a new activity. 2.- Entrepreneurs or companies that wish to open a new establishment that does not involve the transfer of an existing one in Etxebarri. 3.- Entrepreneurs who wish to implement an activity that has been taking place in other types of premises such as seedbeds, collaborative spaces or similar, in one of the empty premises in Etxebarri. 4.- Entrepreneurs who wish to continue an upcoming or recently closed activity (generational change). Beneficiaries must keep the premises in which they carried out the activity open for at least 1 year from the granting of the aid. The entrepreneur or company that has previously received Etxebarri+ rental assistance is excluded. Second. Object: The object of these Bases is the regulation of the procedure for granting aid for the rental or purchase of empty premises where a commercial or service establishment is opened or continuity is given to an existing one (generational change). The call is intended for all natural or legal persons interested in starting an economic activity in one of the empty commercial premises in Etxebarri or in providing continuity to existing businesses through generational change, regardless of the place of residence of the interested person. Those activities subject to this call that are located in the Lezama Leguizamón, Barrondo and Etxepare Industrial Estates will be excluded. Third. Regulatory bases: Ordinance for the granting of municipal subsidies of the Etxebarri City Council (https://www.etxebarri.eus/es-ES/Ayuntamiento/Normativa-municipal/Documents/15_Concesion%20de%20Subvenciones%20Municipales.pdf).
