Extract from the call for Subsidies from the Igualada City Council to pursue university degree and post-graduation studies, academic year 2025-2026, called by Mayor's decree dated June 26, 2026. 1. Object and purpose of the subsidies The object of the subsidies is to support the tangible and intangible expenses of pursuing university degree and post-graduation studies for the 2025-2026 academic year, through a amount that helps cover your effort. 2. Beneficiaries People who meet the following requirements: a) Have been a student enrolled in the course established by the call for undergraduate and postgraduate university studies, corresponding to levels 2 (university degree) and 3 (university master's degree) and have passed a minimum of 30 credits in this same course. b) Be registered in the municipal register of inhabitants of Igualada six months before, counting from the last day of the application period. c) Level 4 studies (doctorate) are excluded from these subsidies. 3. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of these subsidies are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on April 10, 2026. 4. Award criteria Two categories are established according to the criteria approved for the 2025-2026 academic year: A) From 30 to 59 approved credits B) More than 59 approved credits Only those that are accredited through the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) will be taken as a reference for the calculation of credits. Students who have completed more than one university degree during the 2025/2026 academic year will be able to combine all the credits approved in all the studies carried out to accredit the category to which their application corresponds. At the same time, and within each of the two categories, four different sections are established depending on having enjoyed a discount on enrollment for university studies for the 2025/2026 academic year as a result of obtaining the Equidad scholarship or the scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. 1) General section: those who have NOT requested or have NOT obtained any tuition discount for studies in the 2025-2026 academic year. 2) Intermediate section: For students who have obtained a tuition discount for studies in the 2025-2026 academic year in a percentage of less than 80 percent of the amount. 3) High section: For students who have obtained a tuition discount for the 2025-2026 academic year as a result of obtaining the Equidad scholarship or the scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in a percentage equal to or greater than 80 percent of the amount. 4)Special section: For students who belong to families with monitoring and work plan of the Basic Social Services of the Igualada City Council during the 2025/2026 academic year. 5.
