RULES OF THE CALL FOR THE VI ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETITION “RECÍCLATE” This Competition is an initiative of the Environment and Sustainability Delegation of the Lucena City Council in response to the annual development of the Environmental Education program, focused on raising awareness of the problem of waste and its impact on ecosystems. Recycle! is a call for attention focused on the recovery and recycling of waste to encourage individual and collective action towards recycling and the promotion of sustainability through the development of artistic initiatives, as an alternative to minimizing pollution and preserving the quality of our environment. FIRST. All those who wish to participate in this call may participate, according to the categories defined below. The works may have individual or collective authorship; in the case of the latter, each author may participate with a maximum of two works, which may be independent works or be part of the same series. In any case, none of the participants may be awarded for more than one work in the same edition. Free materials and techniques will be used, with the central theme being the reuse of inorganic waste, social awareness in favor of recycling and the reduction of waste generation. They must be made from at least 50% waste material. The participants undertake to send the work, at the time requested, taking charge, where appropriate, of the expenses derived from it. The works may be selected to be part of an audiovisual and exhibition sample, becoming part of the delegation's digital archive. SECOND. Four categories are established: CHILDREN CATEGORY: Participants up to 12 years old. YOUTH CATEGORY: Participants from 12 to 18 years old. ADULT CATEGORY: Participants from 18 to 65 years old. SENIOR CATEGORY: Participants aged 65 and over. THIRD. 2 prizes are established per category according to the following: CHILDREN'S CATEGORY: First prize: 300 euros Second prize: 100 euros YOUTH CATEGORY: First prize: 400 euros Second prize: 300 euros ADULT CATEGORY: First prize: 400 euros Second prize: 300 euros SENIOR CATEGORY: First prize: 400 euros Second prize: 300 euros. The prizes will be subject to taxes or withholdings in force according to law, unless exemption is granted by the competent body of the Tax Administration. QUARTER. The request for participation will preferably be submitted through a general instance in the Entry Registry of the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council (https://www.aytolucena.es/lucena/tramites) in which it must be expressly indicated that: “I REQUEST PARTICIPATION IN THE VI EDITION OF THE RECÍCLATE CONTEST” accompanied by the following documentation: - Document 1. “Participant data” according to Annex I. - Document 2. “Work Data” according to Annex II which will be accompanied by a color photographic reproduction of each of the works presented on paper and in a file in jpg format. A minimum resolution of 300 dpi and file size of up to 6 MB is recommended. The file name will indicate the order if it is a series and the correct position. You may also attach all documentation that is deemed appropriate for a better appreciation of your work. - Document 3. Responsible declaration according to Annex III. The documentation will be kept by the Environment and Sustainability Delegation of Lucena (Córdoba). In the event that the technical means are not available to be able to submit an application through the Electronic Office, the documentation may be submitted by any of the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Thus, they may be physically presented at the registry of the Lucena City Council or through ordinary mail addressed to: Lucena City Hall, Plaza Nueva, 1. 14900 Lucena (Córdoba), indicating “Recíclate Environmental Contest- VI edition.”. In both cases, an envelope containing a sample of the work will be presented, according to the Annex II model, the responsible declaration according to Annex III and another sealed envelope inside the previous one that will include the document in accordance with the personal data corresponding to the Annex I model.
