First. Beneficiaries Schools in the municipality of Barberà del Vallès funded with public funds from Barberà del Vallès may apply for the financial aid that is the subject of this call, provided that they are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter LGS), and that they meet the following requirements: a) That they promote projects or activities that give response to the purposes and objectives described in the first point. b) Be up to date with the payment of reimbursement obligations and justification of subsidies previously granted by the City Council. c) That they are up to date with their tax obligations before the State, the Generalitat and the City Council and their obligations before the Public Treasury and Social Security. d) That they prove that they have never been subject to final administrative sanctions or final condemnatory sentences against Law 17/2015, of July 21, on effective equality between women and men. The public administrations of Catalonia and the organizations and entities that depend on them must deny the granting of subsidies, scholarships or any other type of public aid to applicant companies and entities sanctioned or condemned because they have exercised or tolerated labor practices considered discriminatory on the basis of sex or gender, sanctioned by a final administrative resolution or condemned by a final judicial ruling. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is the granting by the Barberà del Vallès City Council of financial aid to support the educational work of the centers that teach the second cycle of early childhood and primary education, for the acquisition of school supplies and/or various activities (school outings and camps). The purposes and objectives of granting these aid are the following: • Collaborate with the educational tasks of the centers. • Contribute to equality in the schooling conditions of all students. • Reduce the general expenses that families assume for school supplies and/or various activities. • Promote equity in the educational system supported by public funds. • Promote and support projects for the socialization of textbooks and complementary teaching materials carried out by educational centers. • Promote the acquisition of new tools, instruments and teaching materials that promote pedagogical renewal. • Encourage student participation in school outings and camps. • Support schooling for educational success. • Promote center educational projects shared and managed by the educational community. • Promote coexistence between students and teachers in an environment other than school. Third. Regulatory Bases.
