1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of subsidies aimed at unemployed people or people in a situation of improvement of employment registered in Eibar who take non-university training actions: - Started in 2026 and ending before December 31, 2026. The purpose of this training is to improve their employability and increase the possibilities of insertion into the labor market. The following will be eligible for subsidies: • Completion of a medium or higher degree of vocational training. • Official foreign language courses • Courses to obtain driving licenses, except type A (motorcycles). • Taking any other type of course (face-to-face or online) that increases employability, provided that the achievement of a degree can be accredited. The following will not be eligible for subsidies: • Training activities that were already requested in the 2025 call, unless they refer to different or higher courses. • Competition preparation courses. • Postgraduate and university master's degrees. A subsidy can only be requested for one training activity, that is, no more than one subsidy application can be made per person. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Specifically, natural persons who meet the following requirements will be able to access these subsidies, provided that they do not incur any of the prohibitions established in article 13 of the LGS: a) Be registered in Eibar at least since 01/01/2023. b) Be 23 years old or older as of January 1, 2026. c) Be unemployed or in a situation of job improvement at the time of applying for the subsidy. For the purposes of this aid, the following situations are considered job improvement: fixed-term contracts with a duration of less than 1 year, part-time contracts and contracts with a net monthly remuneration including a pro rata of extra pay of less than €1,221. d) Be registered and registered as a job seeker in LANBIDE-S.V.E the day before the subsidy application. e) Completely pass the training action, that is, the training action and all the subjects that comprise it must be approved. In the case of language courses, completely passing the training action will mean obtaining an official qualification. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain subsidies, addressed to the convening body and signed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, along with the attached documentation, will begin on September 28 and end on October 30, 2026 (both inclusive).
