First. Beneficiaries Startups that meet the requirements established in the regulatory bases may participate in this call for awards, and in particular those that have a tax domicile or activity development center in the municipality of Valencia or its metropolitan area, as well as those that accredit a relevant link with the Valencian innovative ecosystem in the terms provided for in the call. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of the “VLC Startup Awards 2026”, intended to recognize excellence, innovative capacity, growth potential and contribution to the innovation ecosystem of startups linked to the city of Valencia. The call includes the special categories "Best Startup 2026" and "Best Startup Seed 2026", as well as the sectoral categories GovTech, Agrotech, Digital Health and Wellbeing, Semiconductors, Emergency, Security and Defense, Immersive Technologies and Video Games, Urban Tech and Sustainable Tourism.
