SAN CLEMENTE CITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENT By Mayor's Resolution No. 2026-0433 dated July 31, 2026, the rules and the call for the granting of prizes for the 18th Villa de San Clemente 2026 Rapid Night Painting Contest have been approved. XVIII Quick Night Painting Contest “Villa de San Clemente” Rules of the contest DATE: August 29, 2026 PARTICIPATION: Those over 16 years of age or younger accompanied by a tutor. The support must be white or a uniform preparatory color. All participants must bring their painting supplies. DURATION OF THE CONTEST AND IDENTIFICATION STAMPING: Participants must appear with their support at the EMPE Felipe VI building, located on Miguel de Cervantes s/n street (in front of the I.E.S. Diego Torrente Pérez) from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There, a member of the organization will seal the box. The organization makes it possible for painters to leave their paintings at City Hall for a year. If after this year the works have not been removed, they will automatically become the property of the Hon. San Clemente City Hall. PRIZES: The following Prizes will be awarded: 1st Prize awarded ex aequo by the Hon. Provincial Council of Cuenca and the Hon. San Clemente City Council: €1,200.00 + diploma + ham courtesy of El Piñonero sausages. The award-winning work will be made available to the Hon. San Clemente City Hall. 2nd Prize awarded by Fundación Globalcaja: €600.00 + diploma + basket of products courtesy of Quesos La Aldea. The award-winning work will be made available to the Globalcaja Foundation. 3rd Prize awarded by the Antonio Pérez Foundation: €500.00 + diploma + fruit basket courtesy of Frutería el Carmen. The winning work will be raffled along with the second prizes. Special Prize Best Watercolor awarded by Mr. Carlos Arcas, trusted agent of Banco Santander in San Clemente: €500.00 + diploma.
