Summary of agreement number 3 of July 28, 2026, of the Local Government Board, for the approval and publication of the 2026 call for subsidies for the citizens of Bermeo who carry out Basque language and literacy courses for adults in approved Euskaltegis or Barnetegis. First: APPLICANTS: Natural persons who take Basque language and literacy courses in Euskaltegis or approved Barnetegis. Postgraduate, doctoral, master's and career courses will be excluded from these subsidies. Likewise, courses subsidized by the Department of Education of the Basque Government (Official Language Schools, for example), nor any other courses organized by another entity, such as IRALE and IVAP courses, will not be eligible for subsidies. Second: The eligible concepts are the following: .- For applicants who are beneficiaries of Basic Income or Social Emergency Aid: up to 70% of the tuition. .- For unemployed people who are unemployed during the entire course covered by the subsidy: up to 60% of the tuition. If it is in part, it will be applied proportionally.
