First. Purpose of the subsidy The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure for granting the subsidy aimed at non-profit environmental entities that develop environmental education projects and activities in the municipality of Girona in matters of prevention and awareness regarding waste. The main objective of granting this grant is to enhance and promote educational projects and activities on environmental protection and specifically on waste prevention and awareness, to promote awareness of the problem. The specific theme will be established in each of the calls, and will be related to prevention and awareness related to the following waste: Textile waste Food waste related to food waste Plastic waste Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) The subsidized activity must be carried out in the neighborhoods of the city of Girona, and may be either a new and specific activity or an activity with continuity.
