SUBSIDIES TO CITY COUNCIL OF THE PROVINCE OF PALENCIA FOR TOURIST SIGNAGE 2023

and on the website of the Provincial Council of Palencia (http://www.diputaciondepalencia.es) in the “aid and subsidies” section. First. - Beneficiaries. The City Councils of municipalities in the province of Palencia with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries of this call. Likewise, they may also include in their request the proposal for signage of resources, routes and establishments of their minor local entities. Second. - Object. The object of this call is the granting of subsidies to City Councils of the province of Palencia to financially collaborate in the financing of the expenses derived from the signage of the tourist resources of their population centers, as well as the establishments located in them (accommodations, restaurants and active tourism companies), including the placement of new signs, the replacement of those that have become obsolete because they do not comply with the guidelines of the Tourist Signage Manual of Castilla y León, or those that are deteriorated, always that comply with the aforementioned guidelines. Third. - Eligible actions. The expenses indicated below will be considered eligible for subsidies: -Supply and installation of tourist signage in urban centers, as well as accommodation, restaurant and active tourism establishments that have the corresponding administrative authorization for opening and classification issued by the Provincial Tourism Section of the Junta de Castilla y León in Palencia, or accreditation of registration in the Registry of Tourism Companies. It may include both the first installation of signage and the replacement of the existing one in urban areas, when it is especially deteriorated or has become obsolete due to its contents and/or image. -Interpretive tables, panoramic tables, thematic stands, informative totems and in general all those elements of static, informative or interpretive signage of a tourist nature that are located in the municipal area, as long as they have the necessary authorizations from the competent entity. -Signalling elements for tourist, heritage or natural routes, or others, as long as they have a tourist nature. Room. - Amount. The total credit for this call is €50,000.00. 70% of the budget amount accepted by the Tourism Service will be granted, taking into account that the maximum budget that will be taken into consideration to determine the amount of the subsidy will be €6,000.00. The maximum amount of the subsidy per entity will be €4,200.00. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Provincial Gazette, extending this deadline until the first following business day, when the last day is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday. Sixth. The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia (https://sede.diputaciondepalencia.es).
