Agreement of the Government Board No. 81/23 of May 26 approving a call for financial aid for the transportation of university students and intermediate and higher degree training cycles in the province of Valladolid of less than 20,000 hectares

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Individuals who meet the following conditions on the date of submission of the application may obtain the aid managed through this call: a) Be under 31 years of age. b) Be registered since at least January 1, 2023 in a municipality in the province of Valladolid whose population is less than 20,000 inhabitants. To determine the population of the municipalities, the latest data published by the INE will be taken into account. c) Be enrolled in a first cycle or second cycle degree (postgraduate/master), or in a training cycle. d) Be enrolled in at least 12.5% ​​of the total credits of the degree or at least 75% of the credits remaining to complete it. e) Be enrolled in at least three modules of both the first and second courses of any training cycle. f) Not be the recipient of another scholarship awarded for the same purpose. g) Do not exceed the following income. NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY UNIT ANNUAL INCOME 1 member €33,600.00 2 members €40,320.00 3 members €44,352.00 4 members €46,569.60 5 members €48,898.08 6 members €51,342.98 Preference will be given to applicants who have not been beneficiaries of this call or any other of this Provincial Council related to the transportation of students in years prior to the year 2023. Second. Object. Establish a system of aid that facilitates daily transportation for young people residing in the municipalities of the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants to their university study centers or intermediate and higher level training cycles with the objective that the young student population can continue residing in their municipality, being one of the measures of the V Provincial Youth Plan 2020-2023 (measure 70). To this end, individual financial aid is being called for the 2023-2024 academic year for university students or students in intermediate and higher-level training cycles residing in municipalities in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants, in order to facilitate their access to the respective teaching locations or, failing that, to those municipalities that have daily transportation to the study center. The concession process will be carried out on a competitive basis. Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Valladolid (B.O.P. of the Province of Valladolid of March 6, 2006). Room. Amount. The total amount of the subsidies may not exceed the amount of thirty-five thousand euros (€35,000), recorded in item 507.924.06.480.00 of the Provincial Council's Budget for the year 2023. The maximum subsidy amount per applicant will not exceed the amount of four hundred euros (€400). To determine the amount of daily transportation aid from Monday to Friday during the school term, which in no case may exceed the actual cost incurred by students for this reason, the distance between the student's family home and the town where the teaching center is located will be taken into account. 1.- Up to 20 km: 200 euros. 2.- More than 20 to 30 km: 250 euros 3.- More than 30 to 40 km: 320 euros 4.- More than 40 km: 400 euros Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province and will end on September 11, 2023. Sixth. Other information of interest. - Expenses and eligible period: The necessary daily trips from the registration address to the municipality where the university studies or intermediate and higher level training cycles are carried out will be eligible, or, failing that, to those municipalities that have daily transportation to the place where the study center is taught and that are carried out by public transportation (bus, taxi, VTC - Transport Vehicle with Driver-, etc.) as long as they are not in a private vehicle. These expenses will be referred to to the 2023-2024 academic year and must have been effectively paid before July 26, 2024. Likewise, transportation resulting from mandatory internships to obtain the corresponding degree will be eligible for subsidy. - Compatibility: what is established in the sixth base. - Requests: what is established in the eighth base. - Documentation: as provided in the Nov base
