Official description of the call
First. - Beneficiaries. Beneficiary entities of these subsidies may be Aragonese local entities and urban waste management consortia for the grouped management of waste in Aragon or equivalent public entities established in the regional waste planning, the Aragon Waste Management Plan (GIRA Plan). Second. - Object. This order aims to call for subsidies for infrastructure, facilities and actions to improve the management and treatment of domestic waste, promoting circular economy strategies and actions in this area. Specifically, actions included in the following lines of action will be eligible for subsidies: Line 1. Construction of new composting facilities for the treatment of biowaste collected separately. New composting facilities are understood to be those that are not included in the definition given for line 2. Line 2. Extension and/or improvement of composting facilities, intended for the treatment of biowaste collected separately. This line 2 includes composting facilities that are either already built or those whose construction or improvement is planned with a subsidy from Next Generation EU funds. Third. - Regulatory bases. Order AGM/9/2022, of January 18, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of the circular economy through actions regarding the prevention and management of household waste, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (BOA no. 15 of January 24, 2022). Room. – Amount. The total budget planned for the financing of this call is 6,356,770.16 euros, distributed between the two lines of action, as follows: Line 1. Construction of new composting facilities for the treatment of biowaste collected separately: 3,000,000.00 euros. Line 2. Expansion and/or improvement of composting facilities, intended for the treatment of biowaste collected separately: 3,356,770.16 euros. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of this call in the “Official Gazette of Aragon” until September 15, 2023.
