Official description of the call
1.- PURPOSE OF THE CALL Regulate the procedure for granting subsidies for activities that in the field of social services promote associations and non-profit entities 2.- BENEFICIARIES The following may apply for the subsidies regulated in this call: a.- Associations and legally constituted non-profit entities, which have their registered office in Carballo b.- Non-profit entities and associations, legally constituted, even if they are not domiciled in Carballo, carry out activities of municipal interest 3.- SUBSIDIZED PROGRAMS Specific or annual social service actions aimed at: • Community may be subsidized. • Family, childhood and youth. • Disability. • Old age. • Women. • Addictive behaviors • Ethnic minorities. • Problems of social exclusion. • Those directed at actions of a training or assistance nature. 4.- ELIGIBLE EXPENSES Eligible expenses are those that are incurred in the year 2023 and that are effectively paid before December 31 of the same year. 4.1 Financial aid can be, among others: • Remuneration and personnel expenses. • General maintenance expenses of the entity. These expenses may never exceed 15% of the direct expenses of the activity or program. • Accident or civil liability insurance expenses 5.- GRANT CRITERIA, AMOUNT AND LIMIT OF SUBSIDIES The maximum score for each application will be 100 points. A minimum score of 30 points is necessary for the project to be subsidized. 6.- APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION TO SUBMIT a.- Individualized application b.- Photocopy of the Tax Identification Code (CIF), in the case of legal entities. c.- Certification of registration in the Registry of Associations and Entities Providing social services of the Xunta de Galicia. d.- Bank details e.- Certificate from the secretary of the applicant entity stating the subsidies and/or aid obtained or requested for the same purpose, specifying their amount, f.- Documentary justification of the requirements demanded in the bases. g.- Authorization to collect data from the Tax Agency and declaration of being up to date with tax and Social Security duties. h.- Declaration of not having any subsidy with the Carballo City Council pending justification. i.- Declaration of the number of direct or/and indirect beneficiaries of the requested activity. j.- Explanatory and evaluated project. k.- Budget of expenses and income. 6.- PRESENTATION Applications will be submitted electronically at the electronic headquarters of the Carballo City Council (https://sede.carballo.gal/sxc/es/index.html). 7.- EVALUATION The applications submitted will be evaluated in accordance with the granting criteria specified in these Bases. The granting of aid will be carried out on a competitive basis and will be decided by the Local Government Xunta. 8.- JUSTIFICATION AND COLLECTION In order to receive the subsidies, the entities will present the supporting documentation before January 15, 2024. The budget to be justified will be the amount of the subsidy granted divided by the financing coefficient established in these bases (0.7). 9.- APPEALS Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, the interested parties may file an optional appeal for reconsideration before the corresponding body within a period of one month, starting from the day following receipt of the resolution by the applicant.
