2023 CALL FOR THE GRANT OF AID TO PROMOTE THE START OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES WITH A WORK CENTER IN THE CITY OF TARRAGONA 1. Object 1.1 The purpose of this act is to call, within the 2023 budget year, the granting of aid to promote the start of economic activities with a work center in the city of Tarragona. 2. Execution period 2.1 The natural and/or legal persons who can submit the application, according to the requirements established in the regulatory bases, will have to have registered a new business initiative, in the city of Tarragona, between May 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023. 3. Beneficiaries 3.1 Those persons, natural or legal, described in the points may be beneficiaries of the aid. 3.2 and 3.3 and who have registered in the business census (form 036/037) between May 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023, with a location related to the activity or work center in the city of Tarragona, regardless of whether the tax domicile is in Tarragona or not. In any case, it must be demonstrated that the activity for which you are requesting aid takes place in the city of Tarragona. 3.2 Given that the purpose of the aid is to promote the creation of SMEs and microenterprises, the legal entities that may apply for aid will have to respond to one of the following corporate forms: Limited Liability Company (SL), Labor Company (SLL), Cooperative Society (SCCL) and Private Civil Society (SCP). 3.3 Natural persons will have to be self-employed or mutual workers 3.4.- In accordance with what is established in art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003 of November 27, General Subsidies, persons or entities in which any of the circumstances specified in art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003 of November 27, General Subsidies. 4. Procedure 4.1 The procedure for granting aid is that of concession on a competitive basis. 4.2 The aid provided for in this call is governed by the Regulatory Bases for the granting of aid to promote the start of economic activities with a work center in the city of Tarragona, approved by the Plenary Council on May 19, 2023 and published to the BOPT on June 22, 2023 with CVE 2023-05270. 4.3 The opening of the call is conditional on its publication to the BOPT and the electronic headquarters of the Tarragona City Council. 5. Financing 5.1 The maximum amount available for granting the aid provided for in this 2023 call is FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND EUROS (€55,000.00). 5.2 The Aid will be considered public expenses and its effectiveness will be conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient budgetary credit and will be paid from the budget application 06020 24114 47901 “Aid for new companies” with operation number 2202300034712, of the current municipal budget. 6. Deadline for submitting applications. 6.1 The call to submit applications will be open from the day following its publication to the BOPT and until September 12 at 3:00 p.m. 6.2 Any application submitted after the deadline will not be accepted for processing. 7.- Documentation and electronic presentation 7.1 Applications to apply for aid must be formulated using standardized forms that must be submitted to the General Registry of the Tarragona City Council electronically, through the e-procedures platform (https://tramits.tarragona.cat). 7.2 Interested persons will have to present, within the period indicated in point 6.1, the following documentation: a) Application for aid b) Signed responsible declaration (relating to aid/subsidies received/from Administrations or public or private entities and others related to compliance with applicable regulations). c) The form ANNEX 1. Project description. d) Bank transfer request form and/or bank certificate of account ownership to be able to enter the amount granted after analyzing the request and corroborating the attached documentation presented. The natural or legal person who owns the account must be the same as the person requesting aid. e) Registration of individual entrepreneurs or professionals in the census
