* In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of * Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the * extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the * National Subsidies Database * (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). * First.- Beneficiaries. * People residing in the Canary Islands, who are carrying out * university studies in public centers and do not meet the * requirements to be beneficiaries of all or some of the * modalities of university scholarships convened by the Ministry of Education and * Vocational Training. * The studies must be taken at public Canarian universities or * publicly owned university centers attached to them, * as well as at public universities in the rest of the Spanish territory, * provided that the studies cannot be taken in the Canary Islands and by those who * wish to carry out or are carrying out university studies at the * UNED. * Second.- Object. * Defray the expenses derived from the payment of public prices for * tuition, transportation and residence of higher * university education, of people residing in the Canary Islands, who are * pursuing university studies in public centers and do not * meet the * requirements to be beneficiaries of all or some of the modalities * of university scholarships convened by the Ministry of Education and * Vocational Training. * * Third.- Amount. * * The scholarships and aid called for by this Order will be financed * from budget item 18.07.323A, PI/LA 18404502, 446.02 * and 480.02 Aid for University Studies (Law 8/2003, on scholarships and * aid for university studies) according to the Budget Law of the * Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands for the year 2023, endowed with an initial * credit for the call in the amount of 10,500,000 euros of an * expandable nature, distributed over the annuities as follows: * 2023: €3,000,000.00 * 2024: €7,500,000.00 * * Fourth.- Regulatory Bases. * In application of the provisions of articles 17.3 letter b) and 23.2 of * Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, this * call will be published in the National Subsidies Database * (BDNS) and an extract of it in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, * also publishing the rules and joint call in the same * official journal. * * Fifth.- Form and deadline for submitting applications. * The deadline for submitting applications will be until September 30 * 2023 and will begin counting from the day following its publication in * the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, in accordance with the provisions of the tenth * regulatory base, with any of the electronic signature systems * established in section 2 of article 10 of Law 39/2015, of October * 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public * Administrations, for which, It will be an essential requirement to have * any of the identification systems available at the departmental * electronic headquarters, which can be consulted in the section "the * headquarters – Accepted identification and signature systems". * * Applications will be completed electronically and those that do not complete the established submission process will not be taken into account, * in accordance with the model made available.
