Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries 1. ADVs established according to Decree 52/2013, of November 29, which regulates plant defense groups in the Balearic Islands and creates the Official Registry of Plant Defense Groups of the Balearic Islands, may have the status of direct beneficiaries and request the subsidy. 2. Small and medium-sized agricultural holdings integrated into a plant defense group in Menorca that meet the requirement of being up to date with tax obligations, with Social Security and the Island Council of Menorca, may be the final beneficiaries of the aid provided for in the call. 3. Being de minimis aid, natural or legal persons who have received, in the last three fiscal years (the year of publication of the call and the two immediately preceding ones), public aid or aid from private entities, financed from public budgets, in a de minimis concept, for an amount greater than €20,000 cannot be beneficiaries. Second. Purpose The purpose of this de minimis aid is to help in carrying out the actions carried out, between December 1 of the year prior to the year of the call and November 30 of the year of the call, by the plant defense groups of Menorca (ADV). Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on 09/11/2023. Room. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €50,000 (fifty thousand euros). Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is 20 calendar days from the day after the call has been published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB). Sixth. Other data. The maximum total aid that each group can receive is established at €25,000. Taking into account that in order to constitute an ADV there must be a minimum of 10 farms, it can be quantified that the approximate maximum individual aid that a farm can receive is €2,500 (provided that the group obtains the maximum aid of €25,000 and that the number of associates is only the minimum number required by law, 10).
