Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Any natural or legal person who owns one or more existing high-voltage power lines with bare conductors located totally or partially in the birdlife protection zones established by order GAN/36/2011, of September 5, may participate in this call. Those individuals, entities, companies or associations that have been convicted of a crime or misdemeanor or sanctioned for an administrative infraction related to the environment may not attend this call. Likewise, those entities, companies or associations falling into any of the cases contemplated in article 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies and 12.2 and 12.3 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies, will be excluded. Second. Object. Call for aid, on a competitive basis, based on the “agreement of the sectoral environmental conference, of April 14, 2021, which approves the distribution credits and the territorial distribution of credits related to the application of Royal Decree 1432/2008, of August 29, for the modification of power lines that cause electrocution to threatened bird species.” Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/15/2023, April 25, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the adaptation, as established by Royal Decree 1432/2008, of August 29, of high-voltage power lines with bare conductors located in birdlife protection areas in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria (Extraordinary BOC nº34, May 11, 2023). Room. Amount. 1. The aid called for in this Resolution will be granted based on the budgetary availability of application 05.06.140A.473 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2024, with a maximum total amount of 318,000.00 euros, being conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit. 2. The financing comes entirely from the European Union through the funds assigned to the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for actions to correct power lines to avoid damage to birdlife, in application of Royal Decree 1432/2008, of August 29, charged to the PRTR, within component C.4 "Conservation and restoration of marine and terrestrial ecosystems and their biodiversity." Fifth. Application submission deadline. 1. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the corresponding extract of the Call Resolution in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. 2. The applications will be formalized in the model included in Annex I of this Resolution addressed to the Minister of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food. 3. Applications may be submitted in any of the electronic records provided for in article 134.8 of Law 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, and the documentation provided for in this call must be attached to it.
