Extract from Mayor's Decree, no. 381/2023, dated 09/28/2023, which calls for aid from the Mesía City Council for school transportation during the 2023/2024 academic year. First.- BeneficiariesTo be a beneficiary of this aid, the following requirements must be met: a) That the student for whom the aid is requested is not over 25 years of age. b) That the student for whom the aid is requested aid is registered in the City Council of Mesía for one year. c) That the student for whom the aid is requested is pursuing high school studies or vocational training with an approved degree and for which it is necessary to travel outside the city hall daily. d) That the family unit of the student is up to date in the payment of tax obligations and with Social Security. does not exceed the interprofessional minimum wage multiplied by 2. For these purposes, a family unit is considered to be the nucleus formed by the marriage or de facto couple, as well as the ascendants and descendants under 18 years of age who live with them in the same address and those of legal age who do not exceed 25 years of age as long as they are studying and do not earn income (studies carried out in public or private educational centers will be included, as long as they have a teaching duration of one academic year). Second.- Purpose and objectThe City Council of Mesía will support, for the 2023-2024 school year, students who reside in the city hall and pursue high school studies or vocational training with an approved degree outside the limits of the city hall, in order to facilitate their daily travel. Higher studies (university, doctorates, ...) are excluded. In this way, in accordance with the provisions of Base no. 18 of the execution of the municipal budget for the year 2023, in Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the bases of local regime, in Law 5/1997, of July 22, of Local Administration of Galicia and in Law 38/2003, of November 17, general of subsidies, subsidies for transportation are called for the 2023-2024 academic year school, with a total budget, retained in budget application 231.48000, of €6,400.00 (six thousand four hundred euros). Third. – Regulatory basesThe bases are available to interested parties on the city council website (www.concellodemesia.gal) and on the municipal notice board. Fourth.- ProcedureThe study and evaluation of the applications will be carried out by the Evaluation Commission, made up of the following members: President: Don Mariano Iglesias Castro. Mayor - President of the Mesía City Council. Members: Dona Pilar Sánchez Ulloa. First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture, Education, Equality and Youth of the City Council of Mesía. Don Gervasio Sánchez Barreiro, Second Deputy Mayor of the City Council of Mesía. Dona María José Sesmonde Quinteiro, aedl of the City Council of Mesía. Secretary: Don Eladio Bendaña Pardo, Secretary-Controller of the Mesía City Council. The study and assessment procedure will be adjusted to the following tasks: - Prior verification to verify that the applicants meet the applicable requirements. In the event that the defects observed can be corrected, they will be required to be corrected within a non-extendable period of ten days. In the event of insurmountable requirements, their inadmissibility will be proposed.- In view of the applications presented and admitted, the beneficiaries will be determined by adding the points obtained after applying the following criteria: > Members of the family unit: For each member of the family unit one point will be awarded, with countable members being those who are part of the family unit according to the bases of this call. > Economic income: For its weighting, the SMI 2022 (1,000 euros/month) will be taken as a reference for 2.
