First. Beneficiaries. The “Requena Estudios” Awards for Academic Merits are aimed at: All students who have completed Elementary and Professional Music Education, Baccalaureate, Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate or Higher Level Training Cycles in Requena during the 2022-2023 academic year. Second. Object. The purpose of these rules is to recognize the students of non-compulsory regulated education at the School of Viticulture and Oenology, the Mariano Pérez Sánchez Professional Conservatory of Music, the IES Number One and the IES Oleana de Requena who have obtained the best academic results in Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate Grade Cycles, Higher Grade Cycles, Baccalaureate and Elementary and Professional Music Education and who meet the conditions that these provide. Third. Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases will be published on the Requena City Council Notice Board. Room. Amount. Depending on the average grade at the end of the basic vocational training, cycle or baccalaureate studies or in the case of the Conservatory of Music studies, the average grade at the end of the Elementary Education studies that continue studies in the Professional Music Education and at the end of the Professional Music Education studies, all of these determined (or proposed) by the Head of Studies and certified by the Secretariat with the approval good from the Management of the corresponding educational center. Any ties that may occur will be resolved based on the highest average grade obtained in the 2nd year of basic vocational training, 2nd year of the intermediate level training cycle, 2nd year of the higher level training cycle or 2nd year of high school. If the tie persists, it will be resolved in favor of the person who has obtained the best average grade in the 1st year of basic vocational training, 1st year of the intermediate level training cycle, 1st year of the higher level training cycle or 1st year of high school. In the case of Music Studies, ties in Elementary teachings will be settled by the highest average grade in the 4th year and, if the tie persists, by the highest grade in the instrument subject.
