Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Persons who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries: a) Be registered in a municipality of Menorca at the time of submitting the application, except in cases of requesting renewal of aid granted in previous calls for the same resource that is requested. b) Be over 18 years of age or emancipated minors. Exceptionally, minors under 18 years of age will also have the right if a social or technical report justifies the need and advises recourse. c) Be in the population sectors targeted by the call; That is, people with mental, physical or psychiatric disabilities or people who have difficulties due to addictions or behavioral disorders. d) Justify, through professional reports, the need to stay in a therapeutic residential center and the impossibility or inadequacy of accessing an adequate resource in the public network of social or health services of Menorca. Second. Purpose The purpose of the aid is to establish and regulate the financial aid of the Menorca Island Council intended to subsidize therapeutic residential stays in centers located outside the island of Menorca and to subsidize travel and accommodation of the users of these centers or their families. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on 09.10.2023. Room. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €70,000 (seventy thousand euros). Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is one month from the day after the announcement of the call has been published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. Sixth. Other data. The maximum individual amount of the accommodation, transport and travel expenses of users and family members, guardians or similar will be the following: Concept Maximum annual amount of aid Maximum per travel (transport and accommodation) Transportation and travel and accommodation between Islands (Balearic Islands) €1,200 €300 Transport and travel and accommodation on the peninsula €2,160 €540 The people who may be entitled to transport, travel and accommodation expenses are their family members up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity. Exceptionally, other family members may also be entitled when a social report justifies the need for these people to visit. In the case of aid for stays in therapeutic residential centers, a maximum of 75% of the total cost will be financed.
