Official description of the call

Purpose To call in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León, direct aid to the beekeeping sector established in article 5 of Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11, by which urgent measures are adopted in agricultural and water matters in response to the drought and the worsening of the conditions of the primary sector derived from the war conflict in Ukraine and the weather conditions, as well as to promote the use of public land transport by young people. and prevention of occupational risks in episodes of high temperatures. Second. Beneficiaries The owners of transhumant and professional beekeeping farms may be beneficiaries of this aid, understood as those who: a) Are owners, as of January 1, 2023, of farms registered in the General Registry of Livestock Farms (REGA) located in Castilla y León with the type of farm “Transhumant” as a productive system. b) Farms that have an associated census equal to or greater than 150 hives, according to the definition of professional exploitation established by article 2 g) of Royal Decree 209/2002 of February 22, which establishes rules for the management of beekeeping farms and that have carried out the mandatory census declaration in the year 2022 in accordance with the provisions of article 7.5 thereof. Third. Regulatory bases This direct aid will comply with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11, which adopts urgent measures in agricultural and water matters in response to the drought and the aggravation of the conditions of the primary sector derived from the war conflict in Ukraine and the weather conditions, as well as promoting the use of public land transport by young people and prevention of occupational risks in episodes of high temperatures. Room. Amount Taking into account the size of the farm, the maximum amounts per beneficiary of the aid will be those provided for in section 5 of article 5 of Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11: a) From 150 to 450 hives: 825 euros. b) From 451 to 1,000 hives: 1,650 euros. c) More than 1,001 hives: 2,200 euros. Fifth. Requests. The application will be deemed submitted on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León of the provisional list of beneficiaries included in Annex I of the Order. The subsidy will be deemed accepted for all purposes if no express waiver is presented within 10 business days of publication. Sixth. Resolution The power to resolve aid requests is delegated to the head of the General Directorate of Agricultural and Livestock Production.
