Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries a) The beneficiaries must be owners of Menorcan nursery schools of the first cycle of early childhood education, 0-3 years, and must have the corresponding authorization from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, established by the Consolidated Text of the Decree by which the minimum requirements for the first cycle of early childhood education centers are established, approved by Decree 23/2020, of July 31. b) The School Council of the center must have been established and the director must have been appointed. c) The educational project of the center, the diversity attention plan and the general annual programming must be available. d) The Annual Report of the school year of the year of the call approved by the School Council must be available. e) The center must be up to date with the payments of tax and Social Security obligations, and not have any pending tax obligation with the Island Council of Menorca. f) The centers for which aid is requested must be integrated into the program for educational management of the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Government of the Balearic Islands (GESTIB) and must be kept up to date regarding the administrative management of students and teachers. Second. Purpose The purpose of the aid is to collaborate in the operation of nursery schools and support the educational activities they develop and which are aimed at children of ages corresponding to the first cycle of early childhood education, up to 3 years old, and their families. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on 03.10.2023, published in BOIB no. 136 of October 20, 2022. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €580,000 (five hundred and eighty thousand euros), according to the following breakdown: Maximum amount Line 1: Aid for the operation of first cycle nursery schools and the educational activities they carry out €450,000 Line 2: Aid for the schooling of children from families in vulnerable situations €130,000 TOTAL €580,000 Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will end within one month from its publication in the BOIB. Sixth. Other data. The maximum amount of the subsidy per school center is set at: - for all modules 1 to 6 (which are set in the call): €40,000 - for module 7 (which is set in the call): €15,000
