CALL FOR THE APPLICATION AND GRANTING OF GRANTS FOR EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT, YEAR 2024: LINE 5: 360 PROJECTS

Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose of this line is to support the initiatives of the Educational Community of the educational centers and educational entities of the city, promoting the subsidy of educational projects and actions that promote complete education, 360, in all areas and at all times of children and young people, whose purpose is: Improve social cohesion and equity between children and young people. Promote social, cultural, educational values and new forms of participation. Promote cooperation between different agents and/or educational entities. Enable personal, family and organizational growth, seeking educational success. Promote a more sustainable development of programs and actions. Improve coexistence and civility among the educational community. Promotion of the active participation of entities in the educational field. Promotion and implementation of actions that encourage attention to diversity and educational inclusion. Activities/projects promoted by other Departments of the City Council (Sports, Culture, etc.) are not the subject of this line of subsidies. A maximum of 5 projects will be subsidized per educational center and AFA within the educational field, for activities and workshops that are in accordance with the aforementioned purposes. Second. The beneficiaries and applicant entities The recipients of this subsidy are the children and young people of Gavá, enrolled in an educational center financed with public funds. However, they will have to apply for the subsidies and the final beneficiaries of the subsidy will be the publicly funded educational centers and their AFAs. The status of beneficiary cannot be acquired when any of the following circumstances occur: a) Incurrence of any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies b) If there is a resolution to refund any subsidy previously granted by the City Council of Gavá and the payment obligation has not been fulfilled in the terms resulting from it. c) Not being up to date with the Gavá City Council in the payment of obligations in the executive period for any other concept other than the reimbursement of subsidies. Third. Regulatory Bases The Regulatory Bases for the application and granting of subsidies for equal opportunities for children in the school environment are published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona dated January 20, 2022: http://bop.diba.cat/anunci/3177982 Fourth. Amount Gavá City Council allocates the following amount to the call: Application: 12000/2311B/480260024 Description: Subsidies - Promotion of education and training Amount: €30,000.00 The amount of the subsidy will be linked to the technical weighting carried out based on the general and specific criteria mentioned in these bases and that are contemplated in the project presented by the entity. In general, no more than 50% of the total cost of the project or program presented will be subsidized. If more than 50% is subsidized, it must be done in a motivated manner. The entity will be responsible for contributing the rest of the cost, either directly or through co-financing from third parties (public or private entities). Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Gavá City Council will award these subsidies through a competitive bidding procedure, which means that interested parties will have to submit the corresponding application, accompanied by the necessary documentation. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province and until February 15, 2024.
