Official description of the call
First.-Beneficiaries: Any Asturian or resident of the Principality of Asturias of legal age who meets the requirements of the Call Resolution may apply for these subsidies. Line 1 is intended for those self-employed who are professionally dedicated to the cultural field and who, therefore, are registered with the Economic Activities Tax for this purpose. Line 2 is aimed at people who are not professionally dedicated to the cultural field and who, therefore, are not registered with the Economic Activities Tax for this purpose, since, in this case, the appropriate subsidy line will be 1. Second.-Purpose: The purpose of this call is to grant financial aid, on a competitive basis, for the literary creation of original and unpublished works, in order to support the artistic vocation of all citizens and the full development of their abilities, works that must be written in any of the languages of Asturias, both in Spanish and in Asturian or Eonaviego (Galician-Asturian), in one of the following modalities: a), Narrative (novel, short novel and book of stories): a minimum of 30,000 words. b),,Poetry: a minimum of 500 verses. c), Theater: minimum 20,000 words. d),,Comic and graphic novel: minimum 40 pages. e),, Essay, on a topic specific to the field of humanities: minimum 30,000 words. f),,Youth literature: minimum of 20,000 words. Third.-Regulatory bases: Resolution of August 11, 2022, the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, for literary creation are approved (BOPA no. 162 of August 23, 2022). Fourth.-Amount: 48,000 euros. The amount of the subsidy to be awarded in each of the two lines by literary modality will be 3,000 euros for each beneficiary and project. Likewise, the maximum number of subsidies to be granted in each of the lines will be 8, ordering the projects by score from highest to lowest in each line. Fifth.-Deadline for submission of applications: Twenty business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the BOPA. Sixth.-Other data of interest. The cultural activities or projects that are the subject of this call must be completed on September 30, 2024, inclusive. The justification period will end on September 30, 2024, inclusive.
