Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Second year high school students who take the subject of Geography in any public or private educational center in the provinces of Valencia and Castellón can participate in this call. Second. Purpose: Study aid granted by the University of Valencia for the winning students of the local phase of the Geography Olympiad. Third. Regulatory bases: This call, the dates on which the tests will be carried out, the registration deadlines and the results will be published on the notice board of the University of Valencia (tauler.uv.es), on the website of the center that is in charge of the organization, as well as on the web portal of the Delegation for incorporation into the University. (www.uv.es/incroporaciouv) Fourth. Amount: The 3 students who are winners in the local phase of the Geography Olympiad will receive a study aid worth €1,000 each (the total amount of the call is €3,000), which will be effective by bank transfer at the end of the registration period, once it has been verified that the student has enrolled in the first year of a degree from a center owned by the University of Valencia. Fifth. Application submission period: The registration period will begin on February 12, 2024 and will end on March 4, 2024. Sixth. Other information: The study aid obtained is personal and non-transferable, and can be made effective in the two years following receipt. If the student has won the local phases of one or more Olympiads, successively or simultaneously, he or she can receive a single study aid for a single degree from the University of Valencia.
