Subsidies to non-profit cultural groups and associations in the municipality of Elgoibar for the programs and activities they will develop during 2024

Official description of the call

1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS and in the Bases that regulate the subsidy, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of subsidies aimed at the non-profit cultural groups and associations of Elgoibar, so that they can carry out the activities and actions scheduled for 2024. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy All those entities that meet the following requirements may apply for subsidies: a) Non-profit Entities and Associations and domiciled in the municipality, registered in the Registry of Associations of the Basque Government. b) Natural persons, registered in the municipality, representing a group, for sporadic non-profit initiatives to be developed in the municipality. c) In the case of groups of natural or legal persons, public or private without personality, the execution commitments assumed by each member of the group must be expressly stated, both in the application and in the granting resolution, as well as the amount of subsidy to be applied by each of them, who will also be considered beneficiaries. In any case, a representative or sole representative of the group must be appointed, with sufficient powers to fulfill the obligations that, as beneficiary, correspond to the group. The group may not be dissolved until the limitation period provided for in articles 50 and 68 has elapsed. In these cases, a sole representative or representative must be appointed, with sufficient powers to assume the commitment to execute the subsidy, apply all of its funds and comply with the rest of the obligations that correspond to the figure of the beneficiary. In any case, the requirements and obligations required of the beneficiaries will be required of all members of the entity. These groups may not be dissolved until the prescription periods provided for in this ordinance or in the applicable legislation have elapsed. d) In any case, documentary evidence will be required of being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations on the date of requesting the subsidy, and having justified the subsidies previously granted by the Elgoibar City Council. 3. Amount of the subsidy Amount: €50,000 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain subsidies, addressed to the convening body and signed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, together with the attached documentation, will be 30 days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa (BOG). Applications will be made electronically through the municipal website www.elgoibar.eus.
