* In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of * Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the * extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the * National Subsidies Database. * * First.- Regulatory bases. * Order of April 26, 2023, approving the * regulatory bases that must govern the granting, under a non-competitive * concurrence, of subsidies for the improvement of the digital * skills of the population residing in the Canary Islands, financed * with own funds (BOC No. 90, of May 10, 2023). * * Second.- Beneficiary entities. * In accordance with the provisions of base 7, the entities and persons listed below may obtain the status of * beneficiary entity: commercial companies, individual * business persons, and civil societies, whose corporate objects or * constituent purposes include the provision of training courses and * fall within the category of microenterprises, small and * medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). * Non-profit entities may also obtain the status of beneficiary entity, whose statutes include * among their purposes or activities, those related to the object * of the subsidy, that is, they must include activities related * to educational purposes or to the development of the * information society. * Likewise, * foundations, local administrations or entities and companies linked * to local administrations that are located in the * Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, as well as entities and companies linked to * the autonomous administration of the Canary Islands and entities linked to the * administration of the State based in the Canary Islands, may also obtain the status of beneficiary entity. * * Third.- Object. * The purpose of these subsidies is to finance actions aimed at * improving the digital skills of the population residing in the * territorial area of the Canary Islands. * The content of the eligible actions must be framed * in one or more of the themes included in Regulatory Base 9, * calling for the following actions in this exercise: * 1. Electronics applied through open hardware and/or * free use platforms. It will include, at a minimum, basic training in electronics, as well as for the programming of the open hardware and/or free-use platform on which the action is developed. * 2. 3D design, modeling and manufacturing. It will include, at a minimum, * training in the design, modeling and manufacturing of 3D prototypes, * using both additive (3D printing) and subtractive * (milling) techniques. * * Eligible expenses will be those included in regulatory base 10. * * Fourth.- Amount. * This subsidy, charged to the General Budgets of the * Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, has a financial allocation of one hundred thousand * (100,000.00) euros charged to the budget application * 17.05.467C.770.02 PI 237G0303 "Development of the * information society" of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community for * 2024. * Said amount may be increased with other credits that could * be allocated for such purposes, without said increase requiring a new * call. However, in this case, and in accordance with the * requirement contained in section 4 of article 14 of Decree * 36/2009, of March 31, the Order declaring the available credits and the definitive distribution will be published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, * prior to the granting resolution. The * publication of the aforementioned Order will not imply the opening of the deadline to * submit new applications, nor the start of a new calculation of the deadline * to resolve. * * Fifth.- Application submission deadline. * The application submission period will be open * continuously from the day following the publication of this Order * in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands until the available * credit is exhausted or, if this does not occur, until May 31 * 2024. * The submission of applications will be carried out, in accordance with the provisions * in base 15, through the telematic management application * available at the electronic headquarters of the Public Administration of the * Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands * (https://sede.gobiernodecanarias.or
