Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The status of beneficiaries of the aid will be the Cooperatives and non-profit Associations of the fishing and shellfish sector of Cantabria, which comply with the conditions set out in the call resolution and do not meet any of the circumstances established in article 12 of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies. Second. Object. Call for aid by 2024, to be granted on a competitive basis, for the promotion and support of cooperatives in the fishing and shellfish sector and other non-profit associations in the field of fishing and shellfish harvesting in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, whose purposes are of interest to the development of professional extractive fishing and shellfish harvesting. Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/22/2017, of June 12, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to Cooperatives in the fishing and shellfish sector and other non-profit Associations in the field of fishing and shellfishing (BOC no. 118 of June 20, 2017). Room. Amount. 1. 100% of the expenses incurred may be awarded, as long as they are eligible for subsidies in accordance with the provisions of the call. 2. If the credit stated in the call is sufficient to meet the applications submitted, it will not be necessary to prioritize or evaluate them, granting the maximum percentage of subsidy in the previous section. 3. In the event that the credit stated in the call is insufficient to meet the applications submitted at their maximum intensity, a proration will be carried out, taking into account the evaluation of the applications obtained according to the criteria of the call. 4. To carry out the proration, the applications will be ordered based on the valuation obtained. Once ordered, the first place will be subsidized based on 100% of the eligible investment, the second 95% of the eligible investment, the third 90% and so on, reducing 5% for each beneficiary. If the available credit is not exhausted, the subsidy will be increased according to the order of priority obtained until the maximum aid intensity allowed is reached, until the available credit is exhausted. 5. The subsidies to be granted during the current financial year will be paid from the following budget applications: - 05.05.415A.471 corresponding to Cooperatives in the fishing sector, with a maximum total amount of €30,000.00. - 05.05.415A.482.02 corresponding to Other associations, with a maximum total amount of €60,000.00. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 1. Applications will be submitted within one month from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria of the extract of this call, using the standardized model included in Annex I, which can be obtained at the offices of the Fisheries Activities Service of the General Directorate of Fisheries and Food, as well as through the Internet at the address: www.gobcantabria.es. 2. Applications may be submitted in any of the electronic records provided for in article 134.8 of Law 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
