Official description of the call
Extract from resolution number 615/2024 dated February 14, 2024 of the Councilor of the Insular Area of Culture, Cultural Heritage and Innovation, Mr. Rayco de León Jordán, by which the Granting of Subsidies under the Competitive Competition Regime in Matters of Culture is called for the 2024 year for private commercial entities and individual or self-employed entrepreneurs of Fuerteventura. FIRST. Beneficiaries. Legally constituted private commercial entities and individual or self-employed entrepreneurs of Fuerteventura whose object or scope of activity includes cultural activities. SECOND. Object. The purpose of this call is the regulation of the granting of subsidies granted by the Department of Culture of the Island Council of Fuerteventura for the promotion of cultural projects and activities to be carried out on the Island of Fuerteventura, which are framed within the performing arts (theater, music, dance, circus, performance, etc.); plastic, visual and graphic arts (painting, photography, sculpture, crafts, drawing, etc.), literary arts; audiovisual arts (cinema, video, records, etc.), as well as those that promote popular and traditional culture and that represent a significant contribution to the cultural offer of the island. THIRD. Regulatory bases. Specific ordinance regulating the bases that must govern the processing and granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, in matters of culture, approved by agreement of the Plenary Session of the Island Council of Fuerteventura dated November 27, 2020 published in the B.O.P Las Palmas, number 18 dated February 10, 2021 and in the B.O.C no. 28 dated February 10, 2021, modified by agreement of the Plenary in a plenary session dated May 27, 2022, the consolidated text of which was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, number 93 dated August 3, 2022 and Official Gazette of the Canary Islands number 158 dated August 10, 2022. FOURTH. Amounts. Budget credits allocated to this call: Budget Application 50510 3300A 4790024 85,000.00 ¿ Subsidies to Cultural Companies and Professionals for the current expenses of projects subject to subsidy in this call. Budget Application 50510 3300A 7700124 58,500.00 ¿ Subsidies to Companies and Professionals for inventoried expenses of projects subject to subsidy in this call. Total amount of the call 143,500.00 ¿ An additional amount may be established conditional on what is established in article 58 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, as well as altering the distribution of the maximum total amount between the different budget applications through of the appropriate credit modification file, in accordance with article 58.4 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 887/2006. Maximum amount per application: The maximum amount to be awarded to each project will be 15,000.00 euros, resulting from applying the evaluation criteria of this call established in accordance with the provisions of article 7 of the ordinance. FIFTH. Deadline for submitting applications: FIFTEEN (15) business days counted from the day following its publication in the B.O.P.
