Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The Town Councils of the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants, which organize or mostly finance the activity, will be able to obtain the aid granted through this call. To determine the population, the latest data published by the National Statistics Institute as of the final date for submitting applications will be taken into account. Second. Object. Subsidies are being called for the year 2024, on a competitive basis, to Town Councils in the province of Valladolid with less than 20,000 inhabitants for the organization and/or financing of national or international championships or tournaments that are held in their municipal area during the year 2024, in order to contribute to the promotion and practice of high-level competitive sport. Third. Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the provisions of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS), in Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the General Subsidies Regulation, and by the rest of the applicable legislation. This call is made in accordance with the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valladolid, approved by Plenary Agreement dated February 24, 2006, and published in BOP No. 54, dated March 6, 2006 and is framed within the Strategic Subsidy Plan of the Provincial Council of Valladolid, year 2024, which is included as an annex to the general budget (D.A. First BEP 2024) approved by the Plenary initially in the session held on November 24, 2023 and elevated to final in BOP No. 2023/244 of December 22, 2023 and whose objective is to contribute to the promotion and practice of high-level competitive sport. Room. Amount. The total amount of the subsidies may not exceed the amount of thirty-six thousand euros (€36,000), recorded in item 507.34103.46200 of the General Budget of the Provincial Council for the year 2024. The subsidies awarded, with the limit indicated above, may not exceed the amount of 6,000 euros per championship/event. Applications whose expense budgets do not reach the amount of 3,000 euros for national championships or tournaments and 6,000 euros for international championships or tournaments will be rejected. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days, counted from the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valladolid (hereinafter B.O.P.V.). Sixth. Other information of interest. - Activities, expenses and eligible period: those provided for in Rules 5 and 6 of the call. - Compatibility: what is established in Base 8. - Requests: in the manner provided for in Base 10. - Documentation: that provided for in Base 11. - Assessment criteria: those provided for in Rule 14 of the call. - Payment method: in advance, with the character "to be justified." - Form of justification: by presenting the documentation referred to in Base 21 of the call. - Maximum justification period: will end on November 15, 2024 (inclusive).
