Official description of the call

First. Purpose This base aims to regulate the procedure for granting, executing and justifying subsidies directed to the Women's Associations of the Poio Council that develop projects, programs and activities for equality between men and women and for the fight against sexist violence during the year 2024, with the aim of strengthening and consolidating the associative movement and enhancing the social participation and quality of life of the women of Poio. The activities subject to subsidy must be carried out between December 1, 2023 and November 30, 2024. Second. Beneficiary entities. 1- All validly constituted women's associations and those other associations that legally certify that they have an area of ​​intervention and budget in matters of women and/or equality, and meet the following requirements, will be considered beneficiary entities of the subsidies regulated in these bases: Not for profit. Be duly registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the Council of Poio, keeping their data updated. Be part of the Municipal Women's Council. Participate in the campaigns of March 8 and November 25 and those others that are called by the Municipal Women's Council. Not have any subsidy or aid pending justification before the Poio City Council for the same object for which the subsidy is requested. Not be beneficiaries of other subsidies for the same purpose and/or object charged to the budget of the City Council of Poio. Be up to date with your state and regional tax obligations, with the City Council of Poio and with Social Security. 2- In no case may those entities in which there is a circumstance included in article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies, be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in this call. Third. Regulatory bases. Subsidy bases approved by agreement of the Local Government Xunta of the Council of Poio on February 27, 2024, and will be governed by the following regulations: Article 9.2 of the Constitution, Organic Law 3/2007 of March 22 on Effective equality between men and women, Organic Law 1/2004 of December 28 on comprehensive protection measures against gender violence, Legislative Decree 2/2015 of February 12, which approves the consolidated text of the legal provisions of the Autonomous Community of Galicia on equality, Law 13/2008 of December 13 regulating the Social Services of Galicia, Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies and Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves its regulation, in its basic precepts; by Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician Subsidies and Decree 11/2009, of January 8, which approves its regulations; by the basic legislation of the State regarding local regime and common administrative procedure; by the non-basic precepts of Law 38/2003 and Royal Decree 887/2006; by Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance; for the Budget Execution Bases of the Poio City Council for the year 2021; by the remaining rules of administrative law and, failing that, by the rules of private law. Room. Financing. 1- The global credit available for the granting of this subsidy will be 10,000.00 euros charged to budget item 231.48900 contemplated in the General Budget for the year 2024. For the provision of the credit, the potential entities that can meet the requirements demanded in the second base, in accordance with the data on file in the Council, were taken into account. 2.- Subsidized projects will be granted financial aid of €1000.00. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from 9:00 a.m. on the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra.
