Call for the year 2024 for subsidies aimed at promoting the employment of people with disabilities in the ordinary labor market

Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiary entities. Companies, regardless of their legal form, self-employed workers and private non-profit entities in the ordinary labor market that carry out their activity in the Autonomous Community of Aragon and that hire for an indefinite period or on a temporary basis people with disabilities or with borderline intellectual capacity who are unemployed job seekers and who are registered in the public employment service may be beneficiaries of the subsidies that are called by this order. This registration in the public employment service will not be required in cases of transition from the protected labor market to the ordinary company. Likewise, the transformation of fixed-term, temporary and training contracts signed with disabled workers into permanent contracts may be subsidized, as well as the expenses necessary to adapt jobs occupied by disabled people. For the purposes of the provisions of this order and in accordance with the provisions of articles 35, 37 and 39 of the consolidated text of the General Law on the rights of people with disabilities and their social inclusion, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013, of November 29, as well as that established in Royal Decree 368/2021, of May 25, on positive action measures to promote access to employment for people with intellectual capacity limit, workers who are in any of the following cases will be considered people with disabilities: They have a recognized disability to a degree equal to or greater than 33% or with a limit of intellectual capacity. They are Social Security pensioners with a recognized permanent disability pension in the degree of total, absolute or severe disability or they are passive class pensioners with a recognized retirement or retirement pension due to permanent incapacity for service or uselessness. The eligible actions and conditions of the subsidies in their different modalities are those established in Chapter II of Order EPE/675/2022, of May 17. For these purposes, Social Security or passive class pensioners will be considered to have a disability of 33%. Second. - Object. The purpose of these subsidies is to promote the temporary and indefinite hiring of unemployed people with disabilities, promote their job stability through incentives for the transformation of temporary contracts into indefinite ones, finance the adaptation of their jobs and the elimination of barriers or obstacles that prevent or hinder this, as well as promote the transition of disabled workers from employment in special employment centers to employment in companies in the regular market. Third. - Regulatory bases. Order EPE/675/2022, of May 17, establishes the regulatory bases of the subsidy program aimed at promoting the employment of people with disabilities in the ordinary labor market published in the Official Gazette of Aragon, number 100, of May 26, 2022. https://www.boa.aragon.es/cgi-bin/EBOA/BRSCGI?CMD=VEROBJ&MLKOB=1222618224646 Fourth. - Amount. 1. The financing of these subsidies will be covered by state employment funds transferred by the General Administration of the State to the Autonomous Community of Aragon within the framework of the territorial distribution of funds to the Autonomous Communities through the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs. 2. The total amount of the credit assigned to this call amounts to three hundred and seventy-five thousand euros (€375,000) and the corresponding subsidies will be financed from budget application 51016/G/3221/470093/33005 of the expense budget of the Aragonese Institute of Employment corresponding to the year 2024 and called "hiring of people with disabilities in ordinary employment." Fifth. - Requirements of eligible actions and executable period. All eligible cases provided for in Chapter II of Order EPE/675/2022, of May 17, that occur in the territorial area of ​​the Autonomous Community of Aragon between October 1, 2023 and October 30 may be subject to a subsidy, in accordance with the provisions of this call.
