Resolution of March 7, 2024, of the Directorate of the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions by which subsidies are called for the year 2024, for the production of short films in Andalusia

Official description of the call

FIRST.- The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports (Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions) is calling for the granting of subsidies for the production of short films in Andalusia for the year 2024, under a competitive competition regime, in the maximum total amount specified and charged to the budget credits detailed: Budget Item: 1651010000 G/45E/47001/00 01 2024: €17,000.00 2025: €25,500.00 2026: €42,500.00 TOTAL: €85,000.00 SECOND.- Beneficiaries. Natural and legal persons may be beneficiaries. Likewise, Economic Interest Groups whose corporate purpose is to carry out film production activities may apply for subsidies. All potential applicants for the subsidy must meet the condition of being an independent producer in accordance with the provisions of article 4.n) of Law 55/2007, of December 28, on Cinema and be established in a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area. THIRD.- Object. The object of this call is the granting of subsidies for the production of short films in Andalusia in the year 2024. A short film will be understood as an audiovisual work made on any medium, the duration of which is a maximum of thirty minutes. FOURTH.- Regulatory bases. The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by Order of May 19, 2017 (Boja no. 99, of May 26), of the Ministry of Culture (current Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports), which establishes the regulatory bases for granting subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, for the production of short films in Andalusia. FIFTH.- Amount. The total budget allocation for this call amounts to 85,000.00 euros with the distribution by annuities that appears in the table in the first section of this extract. The maximum amount of the subsidy per beneficiary person or entity will be €30,000 for animated short films and €20,000 for other short films, provided that this amount does not exceed 60% of the short film's budget. SIXTH.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 days, its calculation beginning on the first business day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía of the extract provided for in art. 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. SEVENTH.- Other data. The application forms (Annex I) and the forms for allegations, acceptance, reformulation and presentation of documentation (Annex II) are published in this BOJA together with the Call Resolution and can be obtained for completion in the Catalog of Procedures and Services of the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía https://juntadeandalucia.es/servicios/procedimientos/detalle/10604.html, as well as in the website of the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions at the electronic address http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/cultura/web/AAIICC/.
