Official description of the call
First.- Purpose: The purpose of these bases is to define the conditions and procedure to be followed for the application and granting of subsidies granted by the Xàtiva City Council, within the framework of its budgetary provisions, to promote youth associations as well as the programs and projects carried out by youth associations to promote educational leisure in free time for youth. These bases are subject to the provisions of the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Xàtiva City Council, approved, by agreement of the Plenary Session of the Corporation, dated November 27, 2021 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province, the final approval on February 17, 2022. Eligible activities must be carried out from October 17, 2023 to October 16, 2024. Second.- Beneficiaries: Modality A: Youth associations that carry out projects that promote educational leisure activities in free time by youth may request this modality. These projects will have to contain at least 3 of the following objectives: 1. Promote services of interest to young people, supporting entities or groups that work in the youth field. 2. Promote youth associations. 3. Promote the creation of new forms of participation and social impact in the youth sphere. 4. Promote information programs for youth in relation to healthy habits and behaviors (sexuality, risk of drug addiction and alcohol, gambling...), as well as sustainable ways of life (mobility, consumption habits...) 5. Promote cultural, artistic, musical, theatrical or dance activities, as well as encourage activities aimed at promoting equality and against violence 6. Participate in activities programmed by the Youth area of the Xàtiva City Council. 7. Participate in the activities programmed by the local Youth Council of Xàtiva. 8. Promote professional development within the area of youth animation All youth associations in Xàtiva may apply for a subsidy that comply with: a) The activities do not have lucrative purposes, or if they obtain profits, these are reinvested in those that are their own. b) The scope of action is within the same municipality or outside its limits, in the event that it is considered of interest for the external projection of the city. c) The activities are open to the general public. Modality B: Those youth associations that also request modality A and have a rental contract for the association's headquarters and/or the space for storing materials may request this modality from October 17, 2023 until, at least, October 16, 2024. Youth associations that do not obtain a minimum of 60 points in modality A will be excluded from this modality. Third.- Regulatory bases: The bases regulations for the granting of youth subsidies by the Xàtiva City Council, have been approved within the framework of the Execution Bases of the municipal Budget of the Xàtiva City Council for the financial year 2024, and published on the municipal page. https://xativa.sedelectronica.es/transparency Quart.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days counting from the day following the publication of this resolution in the BOP. Fifth.- Documentation: That indicated in clause 5 of the regulatory bases of the annual call for subsidies intended for youth associations of Xàtiva for the year 2024. Sixth.- Resolution: The competent body for the resolution will be the Mayor's Office - Presidency, without prejudice to the current delegations.
