EXTRACT OF THE PUBLIC CALL FOR GRANTS OF THE MUNICIPAL FOUNDATION OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND POPULAR UNIVERSITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GIJÓN/XIXÓN FOR THE YEAR 2024, APPROVED BY AGREEMENT OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MENTIONED FOUNDATION, OF MARCH 21, 2024, FOR PRODUCTIONS ARTISTIC. I. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL: The purpose of this call for subsidies is to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid for the development of projects of general interest related to the creation and dissemination of contemporary artistic productions in the field of contemporary plastic arts and visual arts during the year 2024, in the terms indicated in the specific Annex: No. 2 "Subsidies for Artistic Productions". This line of subsidies is subdivided, in turn, into the following sub-lines: Sub-line 1: Artistic productions in the fields of contemporary plastic and audio-visual arts developed by artists or artist collectives and projects for curating, promotion, support and dissemination of contemporary artistic productions in the fields of plastic and audio-visual arts carried out by artists, artist collectives and/or other agents of the art system (curators, critics...). Sub-line 2: Aid for film production and creation with artistic interest. II. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES: All persons, entities and private, physical or legal groups, described in sections I and II of this call and detailed in the specific Annex: No. 2 "Subsidies for Artistic Productions" that carry out their activities within the scope of this call, and, in general, in the territorial scope of the Council of Gijón/Xixón, may apply for this call for subsidies. III. GLOBAL AMOUNT: The financial amount of this call for the year 2024 is €22,400, allocated to Line 2 "Subsidies for Artistic Productions", which is distributed as follows: - Sub-line 1: €15,400 - Sub-line 2: €7,000 IV. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: The general deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. V.
