EXTRACT FROM THE PUBLIC CALL FOR GRANTS OF THE MUNICIPAL FOUNDATION OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND POPULAR UNIVERSITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GIJÓN/XIXÓN FOR THE YEAR 2024, APPROVED BY AGREEMENT OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MENTIONED FOUNDATION, ON MARCH 21, 2024, FOR COMPANIES AND THEATER AND DANCE PROFESSIONALS. I. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL: The purpose of this call for subsidies is to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid for the development of projects of general interest related to the realization of productions, adaptation of staging, staging and dissemination of activities related to theater and dance, during the year 2024, in the terms indicated in the specific Annex: No. 3 "Subsidies for Companies and Professionals of Theater and Dance". II. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES: Private companies and professionals from the council of Gijón/Xixón, active and registered in the corresponding registries, that carry out their activity, at least, in the council of Gijón/Xixón, described in sections I and II of this call and detailed in the specific Annex: No. 3 "Subsidies for Theater Companies and Professionals, may apply for this call for subsidies. Dance". III. GLOBAL AMOUNT: The financial amount of this call for the year 2024 is €65,100, allocated to Line 3 "Subsidies for Theater and Dance Companies and Professionals". IV. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: The general deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias.
