EXTRACT FROM THE PUBLIC CALL FOR GRANTS OF THE MUNICIPAL FOUNDATION OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND POPULAR UNIVERSITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GIJÓN/XIXÓN FOR THE YEAR 2024, APPROVED BY AGREEMENT OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MENTIONED FOUNDATION, ON MARCH 21, 2024, FOR TRADITIONAL CULTURE AND ASTURIAN LLINGUA. I. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL: The purpose of this call for subsidies is to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid for the development of activities, programs and actions of general interest related to the promotion, dissemination and dissemination of Asturian culture as well as cultural, linguistic and social projects that contribute to the promotion, visualization and normalization of Asturian in different areas during 2024, in the terms indicated in the specific Annex: No. 4 "Subsidies for Traditional Culture and Asturian Language". This line of subsidies is subdivided, in turn, into the following sublines: A).- Pedagogical projects and/or didactic activities linked to traditional Asturian music and folklore that contribute to its maintenance, promotion, dissemination and/or innovation B).- Other projects for the dissemination of traditional culture and the Asturian language. II. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES: Non-profit cultural associations and federations or groups of this nature from the council of Gijón/Xixón may apply to this call for subsidies, to subline A, and to line B, private individuals or groups, whether physical or legal, from the council of Gijón/Xixón, described in sections I and II of this call and detailed in the specific Annex: No. 4 "Subsidies for Traditional Culture and Asturian Language" that develop their activities within the scope of this call, at least within the council of Gijón/Xixón. III. GLOBAL AMOUNT: The financial amount of this call for the year 2024 is €31,300, allocated to Line 4 "Subsidies for Traditional Culture and Asturian Language", which is distributed as follows: - Sub-Line A: €14,100. - Sub-Line B: €17,200 IV. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: The general deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. V.
