EXTRACT OF THE PUBLIC CALL FOR GRANTS OF THE MUNICIPAL FOUNDATION OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND POPULAR UNIVERSITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GIJÓN/XIXÓN FOR THE YEAR 2024-2025, APPROVED BY AGREEMENT OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MENTIONED FOUNDATION, OF MARCH 21, 2024, FOR EDUCATIONAL CENTERS AND EDUCATIONAL ENTITIES FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR. I. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL: The purpose of this call for subsidies is to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid to the educational community of Gijón/Xixón, for the implementation of projects of general interest related to cultural and leisure activities and non-curricular free time for the 2024-2025 academic year, in the terms indicated in specific Annex 1 of this call. II. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES: The General Regime Education School Centers of the council of Gijón/Xixón may apply for this call for subsidies: Early Childhood Education Schools from 3 to 6 years old, and public and private Primary and Secondary Education Centers for their concerted levels Associations of Mothers and Fathers of the students of the council's General Regime Education schools of Gijón/Xixón: Associations of public and private centers for their concerted levels, described in sections I and II of this call and detailed in the specific Annex: No. 1 "Call for subsidies for teaching centers and educational entities, academic year 2024-2025" that carry out their activities within the scope of this call, within the council of Gijón/Xixón. III. GLOBAL AMOUNT: The maximum multi-year total amount of the call is 47,900.00 euros, intended for the "Call for subsidies for teaching centers and educational entities, academic year 2024-2025", which is distributed as follows: - 7,900.00 euros (subsidized projects for the period from October 1 to December 31, 2024) - 40,000.00 euros (subsidized projects from the period from January 1 to June 30, 2025) IV. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: The general deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias.
