SUBSIDIES FOR NEIGHBOR ASSOCIATIONS AND FEDERATIONS OF NEIGHBOR ASSOCIATIONS OF THE DELEGATION OF NEIGHBORHOOD CARE YEAR 2024.

Official description of the call

Extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board of the Chiclana de la Frontera City Council, dated March 14, 2024, which calls for competitive subsidies for the 2024 financial year for Neighborhood Associations and Federations of Neighborhood Associations. In accordance with the provisions of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies, Royal Decree 887/2006 of July 21, which approves the General Regulation of Subsidies and General Ordinance of Subsidies of this City Council, approved by plenary agreement dated 04/15/2019 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 162, of 08.26.19, and in articles 25 of the LRBRL and 9 of the LAULA, and contemplated in the 2024 Strategic Subsidy Plan of this City Council, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdntrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: 1.- Neighborhood Associations and Federations of Neighborhood Associations with their own legal personality may be beneficiaries that, in addition to meeting the general requirements established in the General Subsidies Ordinance of this Hon. City Council and what is established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter, L.G.S.), must meet the following: a) Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Neighborhood Associations of the Chiclana City Council, with at least one year old and with the statutes approved by the Junta de Andalucía and adapted to Law 2/2002. b) Have a local scope and propose projects or activities to be developed in Chiclana de la Frontera. c) Lack of profit motive. d) That they have justified the subsidies from the previous year when the deadline for submitting them has ended, are up to date with the payment of obligations for reimbursement of subsidies, if applicable, and are not debtors due to the resolution of the reimbursement procedure according to article 34.5 of the L.G.S. 2.- Associations in which any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 of the L.G.S. occur will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary of the subsidies. In no case may associations fall into the causes of prohibition provided for in sections 5 and 6 of article 4 of Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, Regulating the Right of Association, be able to obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidies. To this end, a responsible declaration attesting to its compliance must accompany the request. 3.- The following are expressly excluded from this call: a) Those entities that are debtors to the Chiclana City Council, the Social Security Treasury and the Tax Agency. b) Those entities that are not registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations, that do not have their data updated in said Registry at the time of submitting the application. c) Those that do not respond to the purpose of this call. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this document is to regulate the granting of subsidies from the Neighborhood Care Area, on a competitive basis within the limits established in the municipal budget, intended to finance the expenses incurred by the operation and small repairs of social premises and/or Neighborhood Centers, in which activities are developed that serve to raise the degree of interrelation between the inhabitants of Chiclana, their educational level and their quality of life, as well as cultural, festive and sporting events carried out by the Associations. of Neighbors and cultural projects for activities aimed at affiliated entities without subsidy or for training and information activities of Federations of Neighborhood Associations, to be developed in the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera, providing it with financial support that allows the development of the activities. Eligible expenses will be considered those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity, are strictly necessary and are carried out during the financial year 2024. Four LINES or PROGRAMS of subsidies are therefore established and are individually specified in the following purposes: 1º Operation and small repairs of Social Premises and/or Neighborhood Centers. 2nd Cultural, festive and sports activities, carried out by the Associations
