Official description of the call
BDNS: XXXX In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries. The owners of companies that meet the following conditions will be considered beneficiaries: 1.- Have the status of microenterprise or small business, in accordance with the provisions of recommendation 2003/361/EC of the Commission of May 6 on the definition of microenterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises. 2.- Be a company with the capacity to work in the field of video game creation and development (computer science, programmer, computer design or similar). 3.- The tax domicile and work centers of the personnel who allocate personnel expenses will be located in Spanish territory, and will have at least one headquarters in the Community of Madrid. In the case of foreign companies, they must have at least one subsidiary domiciled under the same terms as those indicated in the previous paragraph. Second. Object. The creation and development of a video game project in the Community of Madrid. The eligible project will consist of a single narrative video game, original and unpublished. To do this, you must possess the corresponding intellectual property rights and the authorizations or permits to be able to create and develop it, in the event that the project is based on some type of pre-existing intellectual right or one foreign to the applicant. The video game project cannot be linked to the promotion or advertising of any business brand. The aid will be allocated to creative activities in the development of the video game project (creation, design, programming), in its prototype phase. In no case will video games subject to Law 13/2011, of May 27, on the Regulation of Gaming, nor those with pornographic content or those that advocate violence, discrimination or hatred in any of their manifestations, be subject to subsidy. Third. Regulatory Bases. Order 892/2019, June 6 (OFFICIAL BULLETIN OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID no. 148, of June 24). Room. Amount. The procedure is called under a competitive competition regime, the amount of aid amounts to 500,000 euros. This credit will be allocated for 20 grants for a maximum amount of €25,000 each. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Fifteen business days counted from the day following the publication in the OFFICIAL BULLETIN OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID of the extract of the Call Order. Interested parties may submit a single application and for a single project. In the case of submitting more than one, the application that was last entered in the registry will be processed. No project changes will be accepted once the application submission period has expired. Sixth. Eligible period. From November 21, 2023 to November 14, 2024. Seventh. Justification and payment period. Until November 15, 2024. The justification will be presented by providing the documentation provided for in the call along with form 2690FO3.
