Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Resolution of the Rector of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, by which the III CALL FOR THE AWARDS OF THE RESEARCH CENTER FOR TOURISM STUDIES OF THE UNIVERSIDAD REY JUAN CARLOS (CIETUR) is called for the BEST END OF DEGREE PROJECTS, END OF MASTER'S THESIS AND DOCTORAL THESES RELATED TO TOURISM DEFENDED IN THE YEAR 2025. BDNS: 917653 Extract from the Rectoral Resolution of the Rey Juan Carlos University by which the Third Call for the awards of the Tourism Studies Research Center of the Rey Juan Carlos University (CIETUR) is announced for the best Final Degree Projects, Master's Thesis and Doctoral Theses related to Tourism defended in the year 2025. In accordance with the provisions of the articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the Call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index. First: Beneficiaries The recipients of the awards are the students who have presented works (TFG and TFM) and Doctoral Theses defended in the year 2025 (calendar year) that have been graded with a grade equal to or greater than 8 in the case of the TFG and TFM and with Outstanding Cum Laude in the case of Doctoral Theses, either of practical or theoretical content and explicitly linked to research on tourism. To obtain the awards object of this call, the beneficiaries must meet the requirements established therein, as well as the following requirements. General Requirements Having presented the work (TFG, TFM or Doctoral Thesis) during the year 2025 (calendar year) at the Rey Juan Carlos University, provided that the work has been graded with a minimum grade of 8 (TFG or TFM) or Excellent Cum Laude (Doctoral Thesis). Have written the work in Spanish or in any of the co-official languages ​​of the Spanish State, or in English. Having been carried out by one author or by several authors. In the case of group works, the prize will be distributed equally among its co-authors. The theme of the work must be framed in tourism. The works must be original and unpublished. Applicants will comply with all legal requirements of confidentiality and originality of their work and assume any responsibility arising from non-compliance. The works must have a positive report from the URJC Ethics Committee if this is necessary. In the event that the work is awarded, it must be published in the BURJC institutional repository (https://burjcdigital.urjc.es/home). […] (Economic Requirements or other requirements that must be met) Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations. Be up to date with payment of obligations for reimbursement of other subsidies. Not be subject to any of the prohibitions contained in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. The commitment to maintain these requirements during the period of time inherent to the recognition of the right to collect the subsidy. Second: Objective The purpose of this call is to encourage and promote research related to tourism at the URJC, promoting critical, creative and cooperative thinking among its students through Final Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master's Projects (TFM) and Doctoral Theses. To this end, awards will be granted, on a competitive basis, to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students whose work (TFG, TFM and Doctoral Theses) contributes to the advancement of research on tourism in any of the areas of knowledge included in Annex I of the R.D. 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university education and the procedure for ensuring its quality. Works (TFG and TFM) and Doctoral Theses defended in the year 2025 (calendar year) may be submitted that have been graded with a grade equal to or greater than 8 in the case of the TFG and TFM and with Distinction Cum Laude in the case of Doctoral Theses, either of practical or theoretical content and explicitly linked to research on tourism. Attendance at this call is compatible with any other pre-call.
