Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The recipients of the aid will be companies or business associations that meet the established requirements described in article 4.1. of the regulatory bases. Second. Object. Support business initiative aimed at developing actions to promote and encourage R&D&I for society in general, carried out within the Principality of Asturias. The purpose is to increase the participation of Asturian companies and business associations in the execution of activities and actions that encourage and promote scientific, technological and innovation culture that are developed around any of the following modalities: Asturias 4STEAM Program and Actions for the promotion, dissemination and dissemination of technology transfer, digital transformation and innovative culture. Third. Regulatory bases. Resolution of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and University of May 20, 2021 approving the regulatory bases for public calls for subsidies for the development of actions to promote R&D&i in the Principality of Asturias (BOPA of June 7) Fourth. Amount. The maximum total amount of the aid called amounts to 400,000 euros Fifth. Application submission deadline. Thirty calendar days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. Sixth. Other data. Eligible actions are the holding in the Principality of Asturias of events, conferences, seminars, forums and similar activities, both in person and virtual, in which the culture of science, research, technological development and innovation is promoted, disseminated and disseminated, proposing new guidelines that seek to raise citizens' awareness of the importance of R&D&I for progress and social well-being, as well as the interest of the productive sectors in promoting talent. entrepreneurship and creative innovation, in the interest of citizens and Asturian society as a whole, and all of this in line with the details of the eligible modalities of action developed in article 5.2. of the regulatory bases. Aid requests must be framed in an area of ​​knowledge and, where appropriate, within the field of specialization defined as priorities in the S3 Intelligent Specialization Strategy of Asturias. The eligible period for expenses will be from January 1 to October 20, 2024, except for those linked to Science Week, which will be from January 1 to November 20, 2024. The period for justifying expenses will be until October 31, 2024, except for actions related to Science Week, which will be until November 30, 2024. The aid will be 100% of duly justified eligible expenses. The maximum amount of subsidies that an applicant entity may receive from the budget of the call may not exceed 30,000 euros. The expenses of: personnel linked to the performance of the activity that is the object of the aid will be considered eligible for subsidies; remuneration, travel, accommodation and subsistence for lecturers/speakers only; rental of equipment, premises, rooms or spaces where the event is held; subcontracting of services related to the organization and celebration of the event; dissemination and advertising; production and editing of material related to the event; Non-recoverable input VAT. Application assessment criteria: A) Substantive criteria (maximum 35 points): information about the action, its objectives and defining characteristics will be assessed. The opportunity, justification, quality, innovation and scientific-technical relevance of the action will be taken into account. a.1.) Quality of the action (maximum 20 points): suitability for the purposes of the aid, definition of the objectives, level of detail and format. a.2.) Scientific-technological and innovative importance (maximum 15 points): promotion of public participation, degree of relevance of the topic and degree of innovation. B) Operational criteria: (maximum 40 points) organizational, experience and collaboration aspects will be assessed, considering the level of definition and detail. b.1) Planning (maximum 10 points): structure of the action, adjustment to times and resources
