Official description of the call
1. OBJECT AND PURPOSE This subsidy aims to promote artistic creation and enhancement of historical heritage through the creation of quick paintings. 2. REGULATORY BASES The granting of these prizes/subsidies will be carried out in accordance with the Regulatory Bases published in the BOP Las Palmas No. 45, Friday, April 12, 2024 and can be consulted on the website of the Excmo. Arucas City Council (www.arucas.org) and on the website of the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/convoctoria/754627). The procedure for granting these subsidies will be on a competitive basis, through the comparison of the works presented, in order to establish a priority between them, in accordance with the selection criteria established in this call; awarding the prizes, within the established budget limit, to those that have obtained the highest rating in application of the aforementioned criteria. 3. BENEFICIARIES All people over sixteen years of age who wish to participate in this call may participate. If you are a minor, the participant will have to attach to the registration application for this contest, an authorization that allows him/her to appear, from his/her father/mother or legal guardian(s). 4. BUDGET CREDITS The budget allocation for this call will have an amount of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EUROS (€1,500.00), charged to budget application 04/336/48100 - Awards, Scholarships and pensions for studies and research. 5. PRIZES The financing of the contemplated prizes will be made from the budget application 04 336 48100 “Prizes, scholarships, and study and research pensions” of the current budget, for a maximum total amount of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EUROS (€1,500.00). Three prizes, taxes included, are established for each of the three contests: Montaña de Cardones First Prize: €250.00 Second Prize: €150.00 Third Prize: €100.00 Bañaderos Histérico First Prize: €250.00 Second Prize: €150.00 Third Prize: €100.00 Santidad Historico First Prize: €250.00 Second Prize: €150.00 Third Prize: €100.00 The winning works will become the property of the Hon. Arucas City Council, who will exclusively enjoy all the right to exploit them, as well as their dissemination in any form and place. If any winner wishes to renounce the prize they have won, they will have to do so in writing and will renounce the financial amount of the prize they renounce. Participation in this contest implies full acceptance of the regulatory bases published in BOP No. 45, Friday, April 12, 2024. 6. DATES AND TIMES OF CELEBRATION OF THE IV CONTEST The receipt of registrations and sealing of the media to participate in this contest will take place on the following days. On 05/19/2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in the Plaza de San Isidro de la Montaña de Cardones. On 06/30/2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in the Plaza de San Pedro de Bañaderos. On 07/21/2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in the Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Santidad square. 7.
