Official description of the call
First.-Beneficiaries: Foundations, legally constituted non-profit associations, unions and business associations, whose headquarters or that of any of their sections or delegations is located in the territory of the Principality of Asturias, that carry out the actions subject to aid in the territorial scope of the same, and that meet the requirements set out in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second.-Object: The purpose of these subsidies is to promote the development of information, training and awareness-raising actions aimed at improving environmental quality, which generate environmentally responsible attitudes and behaviors and facilitate the transition towards a production and consumption model in which the value of products, materials and resources is maintained in the economy for as long as possible, and in which the generation of waste and the ecological footprint are reduced to a minimum. The following actions are subject to subsidy: a) Design, development and delivery of training actions aimed at improving environmental quality, related to any of the following environmental vectors: water, air, climate change, noise and soil. b) Design and implementation of information, awareness and environmental volunteering actions aimed at increasing environmental awareness among different sectors and groups, related to improving the environmental quality of water, air and soil and mitigating climate change. Third.-Regulatory bases: Resolution of February 2, 2021, of the Department of Autonomous Administration, Environment and Climate Change, which approves the regulatory bases that must govern this call (BOPA no. 36 of 23-II-2021). Fourth.-Amount: The call is financed from budget application 17.04.443D.483.054 "Environmental education actions" of the General Budgets of the Principality of Asturias for 2024 and the total amount of aid granted may not exceed 50,000.00 euros. The amount of aid per beneficiary and project will be 80 percent of eligible expenses (excluding VAT), up to a maximum of 5,000 euros. Fifth.-Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be one (1) month from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. Requests will be directed to the Air Quality and Climate Change Service, identification code DIR A03028810.
