Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The research and knowledge dissemination bodies, centers and entities included in article 5 of the call, which have their registered office or work center in the Region of Murcia, may be beneficiaries of the subsidies object of this call, provided that they meet the requirements in each case. Second. Purpose The purpose of the order is to call, for the year 2024, subsidies, on a non-competitive basis, intended for the financing of the “Investigo Program” for hiring young people aged 16 or over who have not turned 30 years old, and who are unemployed and registered as job seekers in the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, at the time of beginning the contractual relationship, to carry out research initiatives. and innovation. The innovation and research initiatives and those of the R&D&I departments will be developed in occupations related to health, ecological transition, green economy (renewable energies, water and waste treatment and agri-food industry), as well as digitalization of services and data science. The subsidies to be awarded will be used to finance labor and salary costs, for a period of one year, including the costs of contributions for all concepts to Social Security, of young people, researchers, technologists, technical personnel and other R&D&i professional profiles, as well as, where appropriate, research support personnel who, meeting the requirements established in the order of bases and in the call, are hired for the development and execution of the research and innovation initiatives of the Program. Regulatory Order TES/1267/2021, of November 17, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies, intended for the financing of the “Investigo Program”, for hiring young job seekers in carrying out research and innovation initiatives, within the framework of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. This call is the execution of the Investigo Program included in Investment 1, "Youth Employment", included in Component 23 "New public policies for a dynamic, resilient and inclusive labor market" of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Room. Financing The maximum credit allocated to finance this call for aid is 2,672,582.28 euros (100% eligible expenditure European Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Fund). This call will be developed within the framework of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and is financed through financial resources derived from the European Recovery Instrument ("Next Generation EU") through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism established by Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of February 12, 2021. Amount of aid In accordance with article 5 of the basic order, the amount of the subsidy will be calculated based on the forecasts included in the project presented, based on the number of people expected to be hired and the following modules: Module A: The module will amount to 22,405.94 euros per person hired and year of hiring (1,867.16 euros per month), in the case of contracts in the Social Security contribution groups. 9 to 5, both inclusive. Module B: The module will amount to 33,108.92 euros per person hired and year of hiring (2,759.07 euros per month), in the case of contracts in Social Security contribution groups 4 to 1, both inclusive. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting subsidy applications will be 10 calendar days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
