Official description of the call
First.- Purpose of the subsidy To contribute, in part, to the payment of the rental income of the home intended for the habitual residence of young people between 18 and 35 years old, who have a rental home in the municipality of Elgoibar in the year 2024. Second.- Budget allocation In the 2024 municipal budget, item 1 is contemplated. 0311.480.152.20.01, with €30,000 for said destination. Third.- Requirements to apply for the subsidy The beneficiaries must meet, in addition to those generally indicated in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the following specific requirements: Be holders of the rental contract (the amount of the benefit will be divided by the number of tenants holding the contract). Not have a family relationship with the landlord up to a 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity. Be registered in the home. Not own a home (unless you are a joint owner of a home acquired by inheritance or donation, in which none of the co-ownership percentages exceed 50% and the value of the shares in the home does not exceed €50,000). Be registered in the municipality of Elgoibar, with a minimum of 2 years uninterrupted experience at the time of submitting the application or have been registered in the municipality for 5 years uninterruptedly. It is enough that only one of the owners meets this requirement. Age between 18-35 years, except minors in charge. Have income between €25,000 and €36,000 weighted annual gross. Be up to date with the payment of taxes and penalties of the Elgoibar City Council, and other tax obligations (Foral Treasury) and social security. Fourth.- Amount of the subsidy When the annual sum of income from the home is less than €40,000: 50% of the monthly rental price, deducting community expenses and housing annexes, with a maximum value of €300 per month. When the annual sum of income from the home is greater than €40,000 and less than €58,000: 30% of the monthly rental price, deducting community expenses and housing annexes, with a maximum value of €200 per month. When the annual sum of income from the home is greater than €58,000, the aid will be 0. Fifth.- Deadline and place for submitting applications Deadline: begins the day following the publication of the announcement of the call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa and ends on June 5, 2024. Place of submission: the application will be submitted electronically at the electronic headquarters of the City Council https://www.elgoibar.eus.
