Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. To participate in the call, applicants must meet, at the time of submitting the application, the requirements listed below. 1. Academic requirements: be in possession of a doctorate degree. The call may establish other requirements regarding its date of obtaining and the body that issues it. 2. Acceptance of the Coordinator of the Research Group or the director of the Own Research Center or Own Research Institute of the University of La Rioja to which the incorporation is requested. 3. Nationality. There are no specific requirements regarding nationality or residence of applicants for participation in the procedure. However, the hiring of non-EU foreign researchers will be conditional on obtaining the corresponding residence authorization that authorizes them to reside and work in Spain in accordance with current regulations. 4. The call may establish other requirements such as the need to have completed postdoctoral stays and their duration. 5. Before signing the contract, non-EU foreign applicants who are selected must be in possession of the required work permit for the duration of the contract. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of this call is to grant aid for the hiring, under labor law and on a temporary basis, of doctoral research personnel for their incorporation into a Research Group, Own Research Center or Own Research Institute of the University of La Rioja. 2. The number of newly awarded contracts called through this call is one: paleontology. The profile of the contract is included in Annex I of the call. 3. In accordance with Law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation, the access contract to the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation has the purpose of primarily carrying out research, development, knowledge transfer and innovation tasks, aimed at obtaining by the research staff a high level of professional improvement and specialization, which leads to the consolidation of your professional experience. Third. Regulatory bases. Resolution 415/2023, of March 27, of the Rector of the University of La Rioja, which orders the publication of the regulatory bases of the University of La Rioja for the call for research contracts to attract national and international talent associated with research groups, own research centers and own research institutes. Number and Amount of aid The number of newly awarded contracts called through this call is one: paleontology. The amount assigned to the contract will be €33,595.00 gross per annuity plus compensation for termination of contract, including salary, tax obligations and Social Security contributions paid by the University of La Rioja. In any case, the gross monthly remuneration will not exceed €2,122.50 in 12 monthly payments. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of La Rioja. Sixth. Other data. 1. The submission of applications will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 4 of the regulatory bases and in this call. 2. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of La Rioja. 3.
